Will there be someone to welcome me?

Yes of course! A few days before your arrival we will contact you to find out your expected time of arrival in our house. We will be here to give you the keys and go around the house, give you useful advice. We will take your full contact details, please bring photographic ID such as a a valid passport or identity card (EU) This is mandatory for all persons over 16 years of age (Spanish regulations)

When can we check-in on the first day, and when do we have to check out on the last day of our stay?

Check in: from 2.00 p.m to 4.00 PM.

Check-out: before 11 a.m.

Is access to the house easy?

The roads on our island are in very good condition. If necessary, we will contact you directly to give you useful advice on how to come to us.

Should I do my shopping before my arrival?

It is important to know that the nearest town where you can find supermarket services, restaurants, pharmacy, health centre, etc., is the village of Tejeda, (about 20-25 minutes by car from the House). We recommend that you do some shopping before your arrival so that you can fully enjoy your stay. However, on your arrival we will provide the necessary for your first breakfast including: coffee, tea bags, rusks, jam and a litre of orange juice, a litre of milk, 2 hot chocolate sachets as well as 4.2 litres of mineral water. You also have at your disposal salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, 1 mustard sachet and sugar, as well as pods of condensed milk.

How many people can stay at the house?

The house is for a maximum of 4 people and a baby (till 3 years old). We can’t accept more people (according to the regulations).

Is the house equipped with heating?

The house has 2 oil radiators on wheels.

Does it have air conditioning?

The house does not have air conditioning but 2 fans. The house is located in the mountains near the forest, which means that in summer the nights are mild. The construction of the house helps to maintain the freshness inside. (And the heat in the winter).

Is the car absolutely essential?

Yes. The is no public transport in the village of El Juncal.

Is it easy to park my car?

Yes 50 meters from the house and free of charge.

Can I enjoy my holidays with my pet?

No, we do not accept pets in our house

Is smoking allowed in the house?

No, the house is also equipped with smoke detectors in all rooms.

Are bed linen and bath towels included in the rental price?

Bed sheets, duvets, pillows and bath towels are at your disposal during your stay.

Is there a hairdryer?

Yes, there is a hair dryer in the house.

Are there shower products?

Yes, you will find in the bathroom shower gel, shampoo and hand soap.

Is there an iron?

Yes, there is an iron, an ironing board and a drying rack.

What appliances will I find in the kitchen?

The kitchen is equipped with appliances adapted to the capacity of the house:

Refrigerator with freezer

4 burner ceramic hob

Microwave oven

Washing machine (soap included).

You will also find all the necessary utensils to prepare your meals, including a toaster, an Electric citrus juicer, a filter coffee maker and an Italian coffee maker.

Is there baby furniture?

There is a high chair, a foldable crib, a baby bath and a changing pad with side enforcements. (On request at no additional cost)

Are there accessories and cleaning products?

You will find utensils and products to do the dishes by hand. A broom, a bucket and a mop. You will also find soap for the washing machine.

Can I make a barbecue?

No, the house is located in an area surrounded by nature. It is very dry there and in order to avoid forest fires, the practice of barbecue is prohibited.

Are there games in the house?

Yes, board games for children and adults are available.

Are there any books in the house?

Yes, you will find some books in French, English, German and Spanish.

Is there a TV?

Yes, there is a television with "Google Chromecast" connected by Wifi to our Satellite antenna.

Is there internet?

Yes, you will be able to connect to the internet via our high-speed Wi-Fi satellite at no additional cost. Teleworking is possible.

Is there signal for my cell phone?

The only signal available is with Movistar. If you come from abroad your mobile phone will automatically connect to this signal.

But the quality could be poor.

If you want to connect to other providers or have a better signal, you will have to go to the church square, located 5 minutes walking distance.

Can we host parties?

No, in order to for the tranquillity of the village, all events are prohibited.

Do you charge cleaning fees?

If you do not wish to do the cleaning when you leave, a cleaning fee of €50 will be charged.

Is there a restaurant nearby?

There are 3 restaurants that are located within 11-minute drive (5.9 kilometres)

Is there a pharmacy?

The nearest pharmacy is in the village of Tejeda (20 minutes by car).

Open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Phone: 928.66.60.72

Is there a doctor?

You have to go to the Tejeda Health Centre, (20 minutes by car. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Telephone: 928 11 74 09.

House Rules

Guests are expected to read and be willing to honour House Rules. Booking implies agreement to honour these few rules.
Entry into the house: Between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Exit: Before 11:00 a.m.
The house is intended to accommodate 4 people maximum (and a baby under 3 years old). No additional people will be accepted.
According to the regulations of the Canary Islands, we must take the details of the Identity cards or your passport with your address (for all people) at the time of your arrival.
No private parties or gatherings are permitted. Only registered people can be in the house.
Please respect neighbours and not make noise between 00:00. and 8:00 a.m. Please be respectful of the neighbours as this is a residential area.
The space in front of the house is a public passage for our neighbours and is not part of our house. Do not place any chairs or tables there.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all parts of the house. An additional cleaning fee of €100.00 will be applied in the event of non-compliance with this rule. (Smoke detectors are present in all rooms).
I understand that accidents or breakages can happen and, in this case, I ask you to let me know as soon as possible.
Do not rearrange any furniture
On the day of your departure, think about:
1. Please wash your dishes and return them to the cupboards
2. Help us to save energy: Lower the temperature of the refrigerator, turn off the heating and turn of the lights.
3. Close shutters, windows and the main door.
4. Leave all used towels together on the floor in the corridor.
5. Place your garbage in the outdoor dumpster located on the street.
6. Put the keys in the Key lock box.
